Modernizing a Two-Story Spanish Colonial Revival Home

The Maryland Estate, a distinguished two-story home in Los Angeles, showcases the timeless beauty of Spanish Colonial Revival architecture with its arched entry and porte-cochère. Our renovation focused on maintaining the home's historical features while introducing modern enhancements.

We converted all bedrooms into ensuites with attached bathrooms and opened up the kitchen by removing walls to create a more inviting and functional space. New energy-efficient doors and windows were installed throughout the house to improve energy performance. The project preserved the estate’s unique elements, including wrought iron details, curved wooden doors with iron hardware, and exposed chimneys, while modernizing the home for contemporary living.
